These pads are an excellent choice for paint preparation on old dirty pre-painted surfaces.
When used with running water from a hose, they will clean, denib, and matt the surface in one action leaving it ready to accept paint.

Heavy Duty pads are particularly useful for the removal of corrosion on steel aluminium.
